

The DVS expansion allows turntables and CDJS to be utilised alongside Serato DJ Pro. Serato Video make use of video effects with options to utilise user video choices and transitions. Many users complained about it being a paid expansion as software such as Virtual DJ and Traktor have had this integrated at no extra cost. Serato DJ Lite (previously released as Intro) was first released on the 4th of October 2012 and was advertised as a free entry level product to be used alongside entry level controllers such as the Pioneer DDJ-SB.
